“I WANT IT!”.
The artwork created by Pietro Terzini for Crida is a powerful, happy statement, full of love and passion. A manifesto of strength and determination, the kind that should always guide each of us in our—not always easy—professional and personal journeys. You have to want things to conquer them; you have to put in every possible effort, perhaps even a pinch of recklessness and madness, because only then do you get results—only then can a goal that seemed distant become reachable.
Daniela and I thought long and hard about which phrase would best suit our story, our brand, and the journey we’ve been on for three years now in fashion. After weighing all possible variations and the most improbable puns, we chose the simplest and most direct words: “I want it” (Lo voglio).
This is because it is our stubborn will to succeed that allowed us to overcome the difficult period in which we began our entrepreneurial path—given that Crida was born in February 2020—and also because “I want it” (the Italian “I do”) is the deepest and, hopefully, eternal promise of love we exchange during the most important moment of our lives. We like to think that such a strong desire can last a long time, just as in our vision, Crida dresses must last a long time in the wardrobe, to be used and reused and never grow tiresome.
Pietro Terzini magnificently did the rest: a glowing LED sign—red, of course, like our brand logo—and an exclamation point that emphasizes the strength of this intention. And so, in Glauco Cavaciuti’s gallery, which featured all the works from his Shopper exhibition dedicated to fashion, Crida also took its place, making its mark with the Fall-Winter collection dresses that we presented to the press in this exceptional location.
Crida’s Fall-Winter will be a very elegant journey through Piedmont in search of that refined and never too flashy style inherent to this land of aristocracy, nobility, and the great ladies who represented it. One above all: Marella Agnelli. In the coming season, just as the Fashion Week runways showed us with highly practical fashion, Crida dresses will be the passe-partout for daily life and the most important occasions, never over the top but always with that distinguishing feminine touch that makes the wearer unique.
For now, however, it is time for spring and lightweight dresses, which have finally arrived in the best stores in Italy and, of course, on our website.
The Spring-Summer Riviera collection speaks of Emilia Romagna, bright colors, optimism, and a longing for summer. It tells the story of the Italian way of making clothes—that “Made in Italy” we proudly represent and which, from this season, also lands in the United States thanks to a luxury giant like Neiman Marcus, who believed in us.
You, who have followed us since the beginning of our adventure, can understand how far we’ve come, how much hard work has been behind every smile and every video we post, and how much our stubbornness—our “I want it”—has brought us here.
We look forward to seeing you all at Rinascente starting March 14th with the pop-up of the new dresses to celebrate these milestones together, but also to say “I want it” in front of one of the models in our collection. Without fear and without doubt: because a Crida, ça va sans dire, is forever!
