Make a wish. This was the message we shared with our holiday video. Who among us doesn’t have a wish to come true, for themselves or for others? Perhaps a small, private dream, or something much more significant… In any case, the start of the year always pushes us to take stock, set resolutions, turn the page, and move forward. For us at Crida, 2023 was a crucial year of growth and consolidation, and now 2024 promises to be full of new challenges.

First and foremost, we aim to stay true to our principles of Italian and sustainable fashion, in a sector increasingly split into two macro-entities: luxury brands and fast fashion. We proudly want to position ourselves in the middle, representing a lifestyle and an elegance for women who consciously choose what to wear, who check the labels, touch the fabrics, and don’t need a logo to feel chic. It is not an easy path to take, because today, buying non-imported fabrics and working with Italian manufacturers comes at a very high cost, but we do not want to fail the project we dreamed of and designed back in 2020.

Daniela and I have just finalized the samples for next winter (you know that fashion is always six months ahead of what you find in stores), and we have built this new collection—to be presented in February—with the ideal vision of a wardrobe that is both effortless and refined. It features a metropolitan allure with several touches of black, a slimmer silhouette, fewer full skirts, and more pencil dresses and skirts—ideal for the daytime but incredibly easy for the evening as well.

Our dream for this year is to convey to women the concept that fashion is not about ostentation, luxury, and appearance. It is, above all, about substance—fibers, fabrics, and details that together make an outfit refined and easy to wear from morning to night.

This is our challenge, and the fact that we encounter more and more women wearing our pieces makes us believe we are on the right track.

January, as you know, is also the time for special prices and opportunities not to be missed. But it is also the month of post-holiday diets, gym memberships, or, as I do, alcohol abstinence.

Before the sadness of these deprivations completely takes over, we can console ourselves by purchasing something we’ve desired for a long time and that has now become more attainable. So, follow our social media closely, because from mid-month there will be opportunities to seize, which will be announced in the newsletter and on Crida’s Instagram page.
